We are pleased to announce our first offering of an art and printmaking club for home-schooled children. The sessions will be delivered by Sarah Poland, a painter and sustainable fashion designer, who herself has home-schooled children. We are aiming to suit ages 7–11, but we are happy to extend our offering to younger and older children on an individual basis, please talk to us.
Each session will begin with a drawing activity and then printmaking techniques will be introduced as we go along. We’ll encourage experimental play with good quality art materials and printmaking equipment in a professional studio setting. Sarah brings a passion for sustainability, working with natural materials and intention to work in harmony with the natural world.
Sessions will run on Fridays 10am to 12pm. The group size will be a maximum of six children. Places will be £12 per child for the first session as a taster (payable upon booking) and then if your child/ren would like to continue we would ask for £48 for the four remaining sessions of the block. The taster means you don’t have to commit to booking a full block until your child knows it’s something that they would like to continue. Place/s on the taster will give you first refusal for the rest of the block.
DATES: The Taster is on Friday 13 November. The rest of the block will run as four sessions Friday 20 November, Friday 27 November, Friday 4 December and Friday 11 December.
TO BOOK: The Taster is £12 per child, book via this page. The rest of the block will be bookable once your child has attended the taster session.
