POPTY DAY WORKSHOP : MORE REDUCTION LINO PRINTING : 20 SEPT 25

£60.00

A day with printmaking artist Beth Knight @bethknight.art to learn intermediate reduction lino printing techniques.

Saturday 20 September 2025 • 10am–4pm
Tea and coffee provided, please bring your own lunch • Limited to six participants • £60 per person

Working from her home studio in North Pembrokeshire, Beth creates lino-cut artwork inspired by landscapes and wildlife. Aiming to capture the spirit of the natural world and the story of the landscape in her prints, she uses a variety of printmaking methods to create pieces with depth and atmosphere, developing techniques to capture light, distance and detail. Read more about Beth's practice on her website.

In this one-day workshop you will build on your existing lino cutting skills and learn more about reduction lino printing – the technique where each colour layer is carved out of the same piece of lino, usually the lightest colour first and the darkest colour last. We will use hand-burnishing methods using a baren, and we'll print on the press.

Suitable for adults who already have some lino printmaking experience. Bring your own A6 design to work on and receive one-on-one advice from Beth on how to build up your reduction print in two or more colours.
