POPTY EVENING CLASS : COLLAGRAPH PRINTING : STARTS 4 JUNE 25
A SIX-WEEK EVENING CLASS WITH LESLEY CRAWLEY
Starting Wednesday 4 June 2025 then every Wednesday up to and including 9 July (six sessions in total) • 7–8.30pm • Tea and coffee provided • Limited to six participants • £99 per person for the course of six sessions including all materials.
Over the course of six evenings, you will be introduced to the exciting world of collagraphy – a wonderfully versatile lo-fi printmaking technique. Lesley will demonstrate the way in which materials such as paper, fabric, string, leaves and found objects can be glued to a rigid base like wood or cardboard to create diverse tonal and textural effects. We will be using a press, but will also look at how prints can be achieved without one.
An opportunity to learn the basics and experiment with the tools and materials in a relaxed, supportive environment. Suitable for absolute beginners and artists with some printmaking experience.
