Everybody loves a teatowel!

The Haverfordwest Printmakers teatowel exhibition at HaverHub included contemporary teatowel designs handprinted by local artists, expect around 150 handprinted teatowels – all celebrating our sense of place and love of our town. Plus some ‘special guest’ teatowels from further afield, and maybe some choice vintage examples that inspired us.
Teatowels were on sale for £15 during the exhibition. The perfect, affordable gift for locals and visitors alike. Only a handful of each design were printed so many sold out on opening night!
The exhibition opened on Friday 1 November, 6.30-8pm. We enjoyed a busy evening of tea and biscuits, and an opportunity for people to snap up their favourite teatowel while stocks lasted.
A percentage of the proceeds from the teatowel sales will fund future community printmaking activities including the set-up of the Print Palace at Temperance Hall – expected to be the group’s new home in 2025. Haverfordwest Printmakers are a group of nearly 60 contemporary printmakers, from beginners to seasoned pros, all with a connection to our town.
